Wendy nodded at his question and smiled before talking again,. ”But not anymore.”
”I hope I didnt scare you and ruin your dress, Wendy,” he said as he gazed at her. Somehow the combination of the sun light and the drops of water in her hair made her shimmer.
“N-no! Not at all!” She shook her head profusely and placed both arms near her chest. “It’s just a dress, a-aha..ha.”
She noticed him looking at her. A bit conscious, her cheeks flushed red and she covered her face with a hand. “Do I look like…a mess right now?”
Natsu noticed the she start to turn red, he then imagined that maybe he did too since he was still looking at her. Quickly, he splashed her with water to hopefully draw her attention away from him.
SPLASH, Natsu chuckled as he did and quickly turned away
Water. Water everywhere.
Wendy didn’t mind though, she was already wet in the first place! So she too, splashed him with water, making sure not to trip.
She was too preoccupied with the water, she didn’t notice a fish got included and is now making it’s way towards Natsu’s face.
Natsu was shocked that Wendy was actually splashing back. Usually, he noticed, she would just sit and watch or not participate. It was nice. He splashed back too, just to play around. However as he did…a fish landed right in his face.
“mmfh,” he said, “what is this?!”
Fish.
There’s a fish on Natsu’s face.
A FISH.
Wendy stopped to laugh. Her stomach was starting to hurt, and she can’t help but laugh so hard. It might not be the funniest joke, but from her point of view, it definitely was funny. “It looks good on you!”

Wendy could only shriek as she fell, now she’s completely wet. She was wearing a new dress too…
“I-I’m very sorry!” She quickly stood up, only to fall again. Why am I such a klutz?
Natsu was still laughing but moved over to help get Wendy up, he wondered why she kept falling down, but he helped her anyway.
Black swirls kept appearing above Wendy’s head as she allowed herself to be helped. “Thank you…”
She squeezed off the water from her hair before facing Natsu. “So…uhh.. What are you doing here?”
”Hehe,I was just coming to the river to think of when I was fishing,” he said. “what are you doing here?”, he asked, “alone?”
Wendy nodded at his question and smiled before talking again,. ”But not anymore.”
